What We Believe
That the Bible reveals everything we need to know about the triune God, mankind, salvation, and the universe which the God of the Bible created in six literal days. God’s past, present, and future plans for the world are carefully, graciously disclosed for our knowledge.
That God is one God manifested in three distinct persons: God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Thus, the Lord Jesus Christ is fully God, as well as the Holy Spirit, who indwells believers.
That a person is justified and saved by God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection.
That “whosoever will” may be saved, and that nothing can be added to faith in Christ’s finished redemptive work to obtain salvation.
That the church is a local, visible body of saved, Biblically baptized believers whose primary task is to glorify God by fulfilling the great commission, which entails: evangelizing, baptizing, and teaching.
That the church has two offices: pastor and deacon. Her two ordinances are baptism and the Lord’s Supper. We do not adhere to the tongues movement. We believe the imminent end of the church age occurs with the pre-tribulation rapture. The Lord Jesus Christ will end the seven year tribulation period, which begins after the rapture, when He returns with His saints to install His literal millennial kingdom on earth.
