Next Steps

Visit a service

Your first visit to Allegheny Valley will be refreshing, friendly, and enjoyable for your whole family. You will experience inspiring music, helpful teaching and preaching, friendly people, and a place where you feel welcome and at home!

Become a Member

You can become a member of Allegheny Valley Baptist Church through one of three ways:

Baptism after Salvation:

The Bible instructs every person who has accepted Christ as their personal Savior to be baptized. It is a public testimony of your faith. When a person is baptized at Allegheny Valley Baptist, they are added to the membership of Allegheny Valley Baptist Church.

Statement of Faith or Transfer of Letter:

If you have already accepted Christ and have been baptized in a Baptist church whose doctrine is in agreement with Allegheny Valley Baptist Church, you may present your testimony of salvation and be voted into membership by your statement of faith or transfer of membership from another Baptist church. You may do this by stepping forward and speaking with a pastor during the invitation in any church service.

Statement of Faith by Baptism

If you have accepted Christ and have not been baptized in a Baptist church of like faith, to become a member, you will be asked to publicly identify with Christ and Allegheny Valley Baptist Church by being baptized into our membership. Allegheny Valley Baptist Church is committed to maintaining a doctrinal unity in this day of confusion and doctrinal compromise. If you believe that God has led you to this church, and if you understand that baptism is simply a testimony of your faith, we invite you to identify with Christ and Allegheny Valley Baptist Church by being baptized as the Lord leads you.
